Klingon D7-class Battle Cruiser is an iconic warship used by the Klingon Houses throughout the Star Trek Universe. Designer John Dickenson faced a difficult challenge to redesign this ship for Star Trek: Discovery. He combined an insectoid silhouette with stunning surface detail to create a new version of the timeless classics. The new Klingon D7-class Battle Cruiser was designed by the order of Chancellor L'Rell in an attempt to unify the Klingon houses and replace the various designs that been used in the previous decades.
